Yesterday I've been to the Audrey Hepburn Exhibition in Rome...I've always been in love with Breakfast at Tiffany's, probably one of my favourite movie ever, that I was so thrilled about going there... 

Ieri finalmente sono riuscita ad andare a vedere la mostra su Audrey Hepburn a Roma...in fissa da sempre per Colazione da Tiffany, probabilmente uno dei miei film preferiti, non vedevo l'ora di andarci...

I have to admit that I've been a little disappointed...as the Exhibition was in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Breakfast at Tiffany's I had in my mind an incredible celebration to her Mith, with a Huge show of the best Givenchy outfits from the movies, Moon River in the background...in reality
it was just a display of Audrey's photos, both public and private shots (gently given by her son), a short family movie, just 4 outfits (not the most popular), and the Vespa from her "Roman Holidays" movie...the cutest thing (see below) was a wall of style tips A La Audrey, that are incredibly stylish and modern also today...

Devo ammettere che sono rimasta un po' delusa...non che la mostra fosse brutta per carità, pero' visto il calibro ed il mito di Audrey e l'anniversario dei 50 anni di Colazione da Tiffany, mi aspettavo una celebrazione in piena regola, con un tripudio di vestiti di Givenchy ed accessori, spezzoni di film, moon river in sottofondo etc...invece era una mostra di foto, sia pubbliche che personali (gentilmente messe a disposizione dalla famiglia), un filmino di momenti di vita privata, molto toccante, di lei con il figlio piccolo, 4 teche di vetro con alcuni suoi abiti e la Vespa di Vacanze Romane... la cosa più carina era un muro di consigli di stile alla Audrey, che risultano incredibilmente attuali anche oggi...

if you're in Rome and like Audrey, you have another week of time to go to see it, my tip is to go with a friend as I did ( that was wearing a stunning vintage Kelly... ) xoxo

se vi piace Audrey avete tempo fino al 4 dicembre per andarla a vedere, vi consiglio di andarci con un'amica come ho fatto io ( che tra l'altro sfoggiava una Kelly vintage da urlo... ) bacibaci!
