2012 DeSiGNeR'S TuRNoVeR ReCaP.

I was thinking about what to write in this last 2012 post & realized that the main thingh I remember about Fashion in this year is the Designer's Turnover in many Maisons...so here a small Recap of the most important changes ( collage via here ): Pilati left YSL ( for Ermenegildo Zegna & Agnona ) to Hedi Slimane...Ghesquiere left Balenciaga to the talented Alexander Wang...Raf Simmons went to Dior & Jil Sander is now back on her seat...Christopher Kane resigned from Versus, Alistair Carr said goodbye to Pringle of Scotland & started his adventure @MCQ, Barbara & Lucia Croce left Vionnet & went back to Neil Barrett, Antonio Marras left Kenzo to the Opening Ceremony duo & the Brand exploded...What to expect for next year?????? I'm very curious to know the new Designer of Schiaparelli ( John Galliano????? Rodolfo Paglialunga????? Nicolas Ghesquiere????? ), then to see Wang at work at Balenciaga & if Ghesquiere will start his own line...in the meantime my Best Wishes to you all for an Happy, Lucky, Healthy & Successful 2013!!!!!!!!!!!

Pensando al post finale di questo 2012, mi è venuto in mente che la cosa che mi è rimasta piu' impressa di quest'anno è stato il cambio ai vertici delle piu' importanti Maison...per cui, grazie anche a questo bel collage trovato su Marie Claire, chiudiamo l'anno in bellezza ricordando i principali divorzi: Pilati lascia YSL ( e va da Ermenegildo Zegna e Agnona ) e arriva Hedi Slimane che leva la Y e ribattezza la Maison "Saint Laurent"...ci si mette poi pure Ghesquiere che lascia Balenciaga ( non si sa ancora per fare che ) dove arriva il bravo Alexander Wang...Raf Simmons lascia Jil Sander ( a Jil Sander in persona ) e va da Dior a fare grandi cose...Christopher Kane abbandona Versus, Alistair Carr dice addio a Pringle of Scotland e approda da MCQ, le sorelle Croce divorziano da Vionnet e tornano da Neil Barrett, Alessandro Dell'Acqua ritorna sulle scene per disegnare Les Copains, Antonio Marras lascia Kenzo al duo di Opening Ceremony ed il Brand esplode...Cosa ci aspetta nel 2013?????  Innanzitutto scopriremo - finalmente - chi disegnerà Schiaparelli ( Rodolfo Paglialunga, John Galliano o Nicolas Ghesquiere????? ) e vedremo Wang al lavoro, che di sicuro non ci deluderà...Per adesso e' tutto, bellezze, Augurissimi a tutte e buon divertimento stasera, io finalmente mettero' il vestito Margiela@HM e festeggerò in rosso!!!!!!!!!!

The ultimate Must-Have for tea lovers fashionistas is a Parisian Brand that has an amazing packaging &  some wellness blends called "Detox", "Be Cool" & "Boost"...I'm talking of Kusmi Tea...I've always noticed it all around the world, but never found it in Italy until now...I've just discovered a store in Milan & a corner in a Department Store in Rome...must confess I've tried it only for the wonderful design, but it's also very good & different...Happy Weekend, I'm sure we'll survive the Maya's jinx...

Ultimo must in fatto di thè un Brand parigino che ha nel packaging - strepitoso - la sua forza e che - con miscele wellness chiamate Detox, Be Cool e Boost - strizza l'occhio al mondo Fashion...si chiama Kusmi Tea, l'avevo sempre notato in giro per il mondo e mai trovato qui da noi...ora, invece, ha aperto un negozio a Milano e si trova anche alla Rinascente...da esteta confesso di averlo provato esclusivamente per il packaging, ma è pure buono e particolare...puo' essere un'ottima idea regalo dell'ultimora, i barattoli sono strepitosi...Ci aggiorniamo Lunedì se sopravviviamo ai Maya, Buon Weekend!!!!!!!!!

Sono molto curiosa di sapere se domani finisce il mondo o meno ( per quel che mi riguarda non ci credo assolutamente ) comunque se fosse - almeno per oggi - comportiamoci bene...ho letto cose allucinanti, gente che si è fatta costruire bunker e/o scapperà chissa' dove...mah io Vi posso solo dire che domani per me sarà un giorno come gli altri, pero' vestiro' Marni dalla testa ai piedi e mi metto pure la veletta di Jil Sander perchè, se proprio devo morire, almeno finiamo in bellezza...Maya Tiè, Ole' Ole'!!!!!!!!

I'm not here to share any new Designer's Collaboration, but very happy to write about a good news...from February, in every HM store worldwide, you'll be able to take there all the clothes you don't use anymore & get a discount voucher ( 5 Euro in Europe ) for each bag...your old clothes will be recycled & your closet will have more room for new ones!!!!!!!! It's really a commendable initiative, an interesting opportunity and I'll fill bags for sure...Happy Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!

Stavolta non parliamo di Collaborazioni illustri, ma Vi segnalo con piacere una iniziativa molto valida di Hm...dal prossimo febbraio potrete portare tutti i vestiti che non usate piu' in qualsiasi negozio Hm e rottamarli...oltre a guadagnare spazio negli armadi, avrete in cambio dei buoni spesa da 5 Euro per ogni sacco di indumenti consegnati che verranno raccolti e riciclati...oltre ad essere una iniziativa intelligente e lodevole, ci aiuterà a liberare armadi ed a far spazio per le Collezioni primaverili...superfluo dire che ne approfittero'...Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!!

Quest'anno ho già fatto da parecchio l'albero di Natale, tutto bianco e argento, pero' l'anno prossimo mi riprometto di farlo tutto colorato con le decorazioni di Pantone, davvero speciali....girovagando nel web ho scovato persino il panettone Pantone e sono impazzita...le palle natalizie le fa Seletti e le ho viste alla Rinascente, il panettone, invece, non l'ho visto in giro...Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!!!!

Visionary Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with japanese make-up guru Shu Uemura to create an Holiday Collection out in these days...it's curious to note that all started because Mr. Lagerfeld uses only Uemura's eyeshadows to colour his sketches...the packaging with this doll is really cute ( I just add a touch of yellow, forgive me, but I can't resist ) & the Collection includes a full range of products from lipsticks to nail polishes, eyeshadows, fake eyelashes & cool accessories...Happy Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!

Il visionario Karl Lagerfeld una ne pensa e cento ne fa...questa volta ha collaborato con un altro genio, Shu Uemura, guru giapponese del Make-up, per la realizzazione della omonima linea Holiday Collection uscita in questi giorni...Lagerfeld ha pensato a tutto, dalla scelta dei colori, al packaging, fino alla campagna visual con questa simpatica bambolina...ovviamente un po' di giallo l'ho aggiunto io, ci sono tantissimi ombretti in tutti i colori, rossetti, smalti, ciglia finte ed accessori vari tipo pinzette e piegaciglia, persino una valigetta professionale...curioso sapere che la Collaborazione nasce perchè Lagerfeld usa esclusivamente ombretti Shu Uemura per colorare i suoi schizzi...Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally Winter has arrived ( we're freezing here in Rome ) & Christmas is almost there...this year, even though I'm deeply into the festive mood, I don't feel it's correct to throw money for stupid gifts, my country is going through a difficult crisis and the atmosphere is quite heavy...so this time my Mantra will be Rigor & the gift, when unavoidable, will be: 1) Smart 2) Useful 3) Inexpensive...Ps. Finalmente è arrivato il freddo ( anche troppo direi... ) ed in un batter d'occhio siamo già quasi a Natale...quest'anno, pur sentendo molto l'atmosfera, non ho pero' gran voglia di buttare soldi per regali inutili...sarà la crisi, sarà che tengo famiglia, sarà che abbiamo tutti gli armadi stracolmi, ma il mio mantra stavolta sarà il rigore ed il regalo, se proprio indispensabile, sarà intelligente, utile o sfizioso, certamente poco impegnativo...via libera anche al riciclo, ma con classe e, soprattutto solo se destinato a lontani conoscenti o a parenti-serpenti...PS. I know you won't understand from my pic, but this hand grenade is - in reality - a plastic chewing gum's case!!!!!!!!! Buondì ragazzuole, scusate per l'assenza di ieri, ma sono stata massacrata da un'influenza bestiale ed ero vicina al trapasso...ora fortunatamente sono in ripresa, anche se speravo almeno di essere dimagrita ed invece niente...so che dalla foto non capirete, ma questa bomba a mano, in realta', è un contenitore di gomme!!!!!!! Queste sono le scemenze che a me fanno proprio impazzire...l'ho scovato nel mio negozio preferito Mon-Reve ed è strepitoso anche come idea regalo poco impegnativa...ovviamente, una volta finite le gomme, si puo' ricaricare oppure usarlo per contenere monete o sigarette...nella borsa - ovviamente Céline - fa davvero una discreta figura...Buon Weekend!!!!!!!!!!
